Day 6: Go easy on yourself and your thoughts.
You’ve had a lot to take on board this week, and have possibly made some substantial changes to your routine and thought process. Change takes time, so give yourself space to adjust to the things you’ve put in motion.
You don’t need to try and hold on to pleasant experiences and push away unpleasant ones. Observe whatever your experience is, rather than classifying it into good or bad, like or dislike. Refer back to the ‘daily victories’ you started keeping track of on Day 4. It might also help to write about how you’re feeling in comparison to how you felt before you started learning about mindfulness.
