In print and online media, The Independent covered our consumer advice, with Simon Trevethick quoted, later reproduced across various regionals and the Mirror.
In the press, We worked with Reach plc to provide stats which show women are disproportionately impacted by debt. It featured in OK Magazine and various other Reach outlets. We featured twice in Stylist, as Vikki Brownridge penned an op-ed on the barriers to debt advice and pointed people to support, and our Women and Debt report featured in an article on debt advice and women. Simon Trevethick was also quoted at length in a Good Housekeeping article providing consumer advice.
Our client case studies featured across outlets as we placed two case studies in the media, Courtney in Refinery29, speaking about how she became debt free after finding herself in £8,000 of debt, and David in the Big Issue, who spoke about the shame and stigma of debt.
Other highlights
Across broadcast media, Richard Lane, Chief Client Officer, was a panellist on BBC Radio 4's Moneybox Live yesterday in a show about mortgage arrears. Richard answered callers' questions on housing issues and pointed people to debt advice. Listen here.
In print and online, our response to the UKRA joint letter featured in the Telegraph. In the Mirror's coverage on the Work and Pensions Select Committee report, with our client stats led the piece, revealing that 50% of our clients with a negative budget were on Universal Credit. Peter Tutton was also quoted in the Big Issue's coverage.
