Support our new campaign and help us solve the nation’s financial ‘What ifs'

There are lots of people who’ve been financially hit by coronavirus. Some may have lost their jobs, and many have had to deal with a reduced income.

Many people will be facing financial difficulties for the first time, and for others their existing problems will have worsened. There will be lots of worries running through peoples’ heads, like “What if I can’t pay my mortgage?”, or “What happens if I’m made redundant?”. There’s so much uncertainty.

Let's turn 'what if' into 'what to do next'

Our autumn campaign aims to raise awareness of StepChange Debt Charity and demonstrate how we can help to turn those ‘what ifs’ into ‘what to do next’.

From 21 September we’ll be highlighting our messages across our website, email and social media and we’d love for you to support to help us reach more people who need help with their finances.

How can my organisation get involved?

We've put together a handy supporter toolkit containing everything you need to spread the word digitally and help your customers find a solution to their financial what ifs.

We've created some internal communications content that you can share ahead of and during the campaign to raise awareness with your teams:

Linking to StepChange on your website can help us reach more people who need help.

Our downloadable "What if?" guides can help your customers find out what to do next.

Our social media copy and graphics can help you spread the word to your customers:

Our 60-second 'What if' video guides can help your customers get back on track

You can use the share button on each video to get a link to share it on social media, or an embed code to use the video on your website.

What if I'm made redundant?

What if I can't pay my credit cards?

What if I can't pay my council tax?

What if I'm being chased for money?

What if I want to write off my debts?

What if I don't know who to pay first?
