How do I get another copy of my personal action plan?

Check first it is not in a junk folder or another email account.

You can get another copy by logging back into advice.

There will be the option to download it or ask for it to be posted to you.

Where do I find my client reference number?

If you have completed your advice, you will have a client reference number. You can find it on:

Emails and letters from us
Your personal action plan
Your DMP agreement
Your monthly statement
Your online accounts. Such as your debt advice and OnlineDMP

Can I get another copy of my Direct Debt mandate?

You can download a copy here.

Can I get a copy of my budget to send to my creditors?

Yes you can and this is a good idea. It can help the people you owe money to understand you are dealing with your debt.

Can I apply for Breathing Space?

You must:

Live in England or Wales
Have at least one debt that can be included

And you must not:

Have been on Breathing Space in the past 12 months. (This is not the same as the mental health breathing space.)
Be on a debt relief order (DRO)
Have an IVA
Be subject to an interim order
Be going through bankruptcy

Do I have to pay back a statute-barred debt?

If a debt is 'statute barred' it means you cannot be forced to pay it. Find out if your debt is statute-barred.

My Breathing Space is coming to an end, what do I do next?

Your debt solution has been set up

We will get in touch to let you know when it has ended. You then carry on dealing with your debt through your solution.

If your solution hasn't been set up

When it ends you will have to pay the debts that were in your Breathing Space. You should get debt advice as soon as you can, especially if you cannot make these payments.
