If you enter into an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA), the details will be recorded on the Insolvency Register. The Insolvency Register contains information about all current individual voluntary arrangements.
It also holds information about current bankruptcies and debt relief orders, including any that have been discharged within the last three months.
The details about your IVA will stay on the register for three months after the IVA has been completed or terminated.

IVAs are available in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They aren't available if you live in Scotland. In Scotland, a protected trust deed is a similar solution, but has different benefits, risks and fees associated with it.
