Can I get a payment break on my DMP or TPP?

You may worry about how your plan will be impacted if you cannot make a payment. This could be due to redundancy, an unexpected, cost or a reduction in income.

If you are on a debt management plan (DMP) or token payment plan (TPP) with us, you might wonder if a payment break is suitable for you until your situation improves.

Can you reduce my payment or give me a payment break?

It is not possible to get a payment break on a DMP or TPP. Your budget should be put together in a way that means you can afford to make payments toward your debts and household living costs.

We understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control. If something happens which means you cannot afford your monthly payment on a one-off bases, you should still contact us and let our advisors know. They will make sure that the people you owe are told why you could not make a payment.
