How do I get ready for a debt advice call?

You need some information about your monthly income and spending. It is important to be as accurate as you can be.

Your debts

Let us know:

  • Who you owe money to, including account numbers
  • How much you owe

Your income

Tell us how much you have coming in each month, including:

  • Your wage
  • Any benefits payments
  • Pensions and tax credits
  • Any other income you get

Your spending

Tell us how much you spend on bills and other costs, like:

  • Rent or mortgage
  • Utility bills, including council tax
  • Travel
  • Food and housekeeping
  • Household services
  • Living expenses
