Delroy Corinaldi moves on from StepChange Debt Charity
5 August, 2014
Delroy Corinaldi, director of external affairs at StepChange Debt Charity, is to move on to new challenges after four years in the job.
Delroy joined the charity in 2009 as its first director of external affairs and played a key role in building up the function; widening access to the charity; and in securing new and ongoing support from funders for its work in debt advice and solutions.
Announcing Delroy’s departure, Lord Stevenson of Balmacara, the chair of StepChange Debt Charity, said: “Delroy has put our public affairs, media and policy work across the UK on a professional footing, and that dimension of the charity is now in good shape. I have enjoyed working with Delroy and he leaves with my best wishes for a successful future.”
Corinaldi said: “We’ve seen through some big and important changes in the organisation - including an active participation in important debates around debt and personal finance. After four years I’m considering some exciting new challenges in finance, but I will always be passionate about the importance of achieving a society free from problem debt as I continue pro bono work for the Financial Inclusion Centre.”
